Tiredness, broken sleep or a body that feels different can have more than one cause. Your practitioner looks at your history and symptoms together, then explains your options.

What is a men's and women's health consultation?

It's a live, private consultation about health concerns that shift with age and life stage. You might bring fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes, irregular periods or weight changes. Your practitioner looks at your history and symptoms, then explains the options that fit.

A private assessment.

Share your history and symptoms at your own pace.

Tests only if they'd help.

If your practitioner orders blood tests, they explain each one.

Treatment if appropriate.

Treatment is discussed only where clinically appropriate.

How it works

Every step runs through your practitioner.

  1. Tell us everything you'd like to work on. Then choose a time for a live consultation with your practitioner.

  2. Your practitioner asks about your history, how you train and what you take now. Then they explain your options, which may include advice, tests, a referral or no treatment.

  3. If your practitioner decides treatment is right for you, they explain the next steps and the costs before anything starts. Your plan sits in your patient account.

  4. Your practitioner checks in to see how you're going. They answer your questions and change the plan if it needs changing.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers here. The full FAQ page has more, and your practitioner can go through anything else.

Do you see both men and women?

Men and women book the same consultation, and your practitioner adjusts the questions to your body, your life stage and the symptoms you want to talk about.

Can I talk about perimenopause or menopause?

Hot flushes, poor sleep, mood changes and irregular periods are common reasons to book this consultation. Your practitioner looks at possible causes and talks you through treatment options for perimenopause or menopause, where clinically appropriate.

What if I'm a man feeling flat and tired?

Fatigue, poor sleep, low mood and changes in muscle or weight have many possible causes. Your practitioner looks at all of them with you. That might point to andropause, or to something else entirely.

Will I be prescribed anything?

Only if your practitioner decides it's medically appropriate after a live consultation. You might leave with advice on sleep, stress or nutrition, a referral, more tests or no treatment.

Do I need blood tests?

Not always. If your practitioner thinks blood tests would help, they'll explain why. Then they'll take you through what the tests show.

Can I keep seeing my GP?

Your plan can sit alongside care from your regular GP. Your practitioner will tell you if something needs an in-person visit.

What does it cost?

You'll see the consultation fee before you book. If treatment ever becomes part of your plan, its cost is explained before you agree to it.
